WHAT IS STRUCTURAL YOGA? Structural Yoga is a type of Hatha Yoga created by Mukunda Stiles. This Yoga is based on adapting to the individual, meeting ourselves and our students where we are, using the 8 limbs of Yoga to bring us to balance. We use a living understanding of anatomy and movement based on reverence for the body and spirit. The root inspiration for Structural Yoga is the Divine force which helps us to adapt, “Prana Shakti Kundalini.” Structural Yoga unfolds in a systematic way to investigate the physical body, leading to discovery of our True Self. This presentation will hopefully give you another way to look at body movement and its relationship to Prana. Zoe Kowalchuk has been teaching Structural Yoga for many years now and is a senior teacher of Mukunda Stiles.
