Yoga for Emotional Intelligence will focus on improving emotional intelligence through your yoga practice. Emotional intelligence is an important factor in creating a successful and balanced life. Yoga can help guide us through self-awareness, self-management, developing empathy and creating healthy relationships. Join us for a gentle but generous asana practice that will move through a slow flow and restore format geared towards demonstrating techniques that increase a student’s access and building of emotional intelligence on and off the mat. After practice, we will sit for lecture and discussion of the sequencing and asana experiential techniques. The goal of our time is to learn to teach to the full practitioner’s physical and emotional technique. Apply the skills learned in this event to any class level or style of yoga practice.
